1. Minekura Kazuya - Probably one of the artist's whose artwork has inspired me the most. There is something about Minekura's work that has always really drawn me to it. Her style is completely her own.
2. Adam Hughes - THE Adam Hughes! How can his artwork not inspire someone? He's the best of the best. You will never find someone who blends stylistic and realistic art so perfectly. It amazes me how fluid his art always seems, too. You'll never find an awkward pose!
3. Yoshihiro Togashi - His works, particularly Yu Yu Hakusho, will have have a special place in my heart. I can never really pinpoint these things, but he's one of my favorites.
4. Legend of Zelda - The countless hours I've played this game! ("Ocarina of Time" especially!) A part of this world is always with me
5. Speed Racer - One of the earliest animated shows to grab my attention. Art that tells a story, like comics or animation, are always my favorite. They are what captivated me so much about art. This show was important to me as an artist, believe it or not.
6. Stephen King's "The Dark Tower" - Although maybe not artistically an inspiration, this serious has definitely made its mark on my life. I love quests and "The Dark Tower" is probably one of the most epic quests of all time.
7. Hyung-Tae Kim - I am across his work at a young age and his color work and clothing designs have always fascinated me. His coloring has influenced a lot of the way I work.
8. Akira Toriyama - I don't even know where to start with this one! If Akira Toriyama never existed, my life would surely be different. Dragonball Z was an important part of my life growing up. Not only did he inspire me as an artist and story teller, but he helped me find strength for myself when I needed it. That probably sounds strange talking about a comic/TV series, but it's true.
9. Captain Planet - Oh Lord, I think my mom regrets letting me watch this sometimes! When Captain Planet came out I became obsessed. It was the perfect show for an eco-brat kid like myself
10. Meisan Mui - I've followed Meisan's work for years, I really admire her beautiful abstract designs. My artwork always comes out detail-oriented and specific. Abstract has never been a strong point of mine, but I love it dearly. Keep making beautiful works Meisan!
11. Jo Chen - Ahhhh, I'm a huge fan! Jo's work is incredible and to think she's so young!
12. Omar Dogan - Hello, Canada!
His artwork is very stylistic and detailed, you can always tell his work from a mile away! One thing I love about him as an artist is he always talks about trying to improve (even though his work is already very skilled!). Plus his vehicles will blow you away!
13. Leigh Bader - I've been a sort of silent stalker of Leigh's for years now I wish she would finish some of her comics and print them in books!
